    It is the goal of the Upper School Physical Education program for students to learn the skills and rules necessary for the enjoyment of sports and develop a positive attitude towards physical fitness, and to encourage a personal awareness of the choices that will lead to a healthy lifestyle.

  • Grade 7 Health


    Grade 7 : Within the Health Education course students examine a variety of health related topics aimed at promoting and enhancing their own physical, social, emotional and spiritual well-being. Topics examined and discussed throughout the year include: nutrition and physical fitness, mental health and sex education. Through class discussion, role-play and group based activities, students analyze the influences on adolescents in relation to these health issues.

  • Grade 8 Health


    Grade 8 : The Grade 8 Health Course covers various topics which will help students mature socially, mentally, emotionally and physically. Topics covered include decision making, body systems, adolescent growth and development, safety and first aid.

  • Grade 7 P.E.

    The Grade 7 Physical Education course is a full year, half credit course, which will include the following activity modules:

    Volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, fitness, juggling, lacrosse, floor hockey, American football, orienteering, and cross country running.
